HURRICANE
RELIEF
Our hearts and souls are still overwhelmed
by the destruction and devastation left in the wake of Hurricane
Katrina on August 29, 2005. The recovery efforts will take
many years and countless thousands of man hours to carry it
out. If you or anyone you know has a desire to be involved
in this expansive, hands-on project, here is something you
can do:
Our home church, St. Louis Family Church has
developed a disaster-relief organization called Service International,
born out of the Floods of ’93 which ravaged our own area
and church building. Since then they have recruited multiple
teams of volunteers to assist in hurricane and flood relief,
tornado clean up, Tsunami relief, even practically rebuilding
an entire town in Kosovo, S.E. Europe. The day after
Katrina made landfall, a group of staff and volunteers were
on the road to Baton Rouge to help train volunteers and assist
in clean up as much as possible at this point.
If you are like us wondering what you
can do to help and are looking for a trustworthy, fruitful
Christian organization to donate through, or
even to volunteer your time and energy towards, visit www.serviceinternational.org to
find out how you can be effective in bringing relief to a
much-needed situation.

INTERNATIONAL
TRAVELS
We
started 2004 off with a bang, having the wonderful opportunity
to travel to Hyderabad, India (see
photos) with Joyce Meyer
Ministries for a large daytime Bible-teaching conference
and nighttime festival. It was an amazing adventure, having
the privilege to lead the music for over 20,000 registered
attendants in the daytime conferences, then again for the
huge crowds in the nighttime festivals. The first night was
estimated at 90,000 people, growing to over 300,000 by the
final service. It was an awesome sea of humanity! And what
a sight to behold hundreds of thousands of people all waving
hankies and dancing to the fun music! We were blessed to
bring part of our Joyce Meyer
band and even our oldest daughter to sing with us on stage.
It was a rockin’ time, and was conservatively estimated
that a quarter of a million people gave their lives to Christ
and that over 800,000 were reached in the entire week. It
was such a great honor to lead multitudes into God’s
presence in these great meetings.
On
the way home, we had the privilege to stop in Singapore
to minister with Tony & Patsy Cameneti
at RHEMA Bible Training Center which they oversee. We were
able to touch
people from many different Asian countries
there.
In May we got to go international again, this time the
other direction — to Ireland and England. The Meyers
held an incredible conference in Birmingham, England,
and we went
early for some great ministry in Ballymena, N. Ireland.
Both events were outstanding. Many people were touched,
refreshed,
helped and strengthened through the meetings.
Then in July we were privileged to travel to Sydney,
Australia with our family (thank the Lord for Frequent
Flier Miles!)
to attend the annual Hillsong Conference with over 20,000
people from all over the world. It was simply amazing,
and sparked some things that brought an energizing to the
gifts on the inside of us, and challenged us to
think bigger and really go for all that God has placed
in our hearts.
We came away with what seems like a fresh, stronger anointing,
and look forward to hopefully making that a yearly trek
so that we can stay on the cutting edge of all that we
are called
to.

2004: A Time of Transition
2004
was a year of transition in many areas of our lives. On
the ministry side, we traveled with Joyce Meyer Ministries
to eleven U.S. cities and two foreign countries, reaching
probably over one million people through those meetings.
All the while during the course of last year, the Lord
was behind the scenes working to prepare us for a new season
He was about to reveal. In August, we sat down with Dave & Joyce
Meyer to discuss the changes we were all sensing beginning
to surface in their ministry and ours. After a long, thorough
and godly dialogue, it was decided that our time leading
the praise and
worship for Joyce Meyer Ministries over the past seven
years had come to completion. At that time, in looking
back over the last year, there were many things which confirmed
to our hearts that this, by all means, was the timing of
the Lord. The Meyers had it on their hearts to move in
some new directions regarding the music in their meetings,
and at the same time we had been sensing a stirring in
our hearts that the Lord was leading us into a new season
as well. And so, although it appeared to be a sudden decision,
really the Lord had been preparing all of our hearts for
this change for several months. It’s a comfort to
know that our times are in His hands (Ps. 31:15) and
that He sees the end from the beginning (Isa. 46:10). We
look ahead with great joy and anticipation to see the awesome
plans God has for our future. As one friend said, “Your
future is so bright that you need sunglasses to see it!” A
special thanks to Dave & Joyce for giving us the
remarkable opportunity to reach so many in those seven
years.
Also during 2004 we began to work even more closely with
Andrew Wommack Ministries again, leading the praise and
worship in as many of their Gospel Truth Seminars as
we could. We have been working with the Wommacks for
over twenty years, and Andrew’s teaching ministry has
had a major impact in building a strong foundation of faith
in our lives, and has influenced many of the songs we’ve
written. Now that our schedule has opened up, we are so
thrilled to be able to hook up with Andrew & Jamie
and do all of their GTS conferences for 2005.
This major change will open up more time for us to pursue
our vision: writing new songs, writing the books that
have been on our hearts, recording more projects, and
enabling us to fulfill many of the things that the Lord
has called us to do, which includes more teaching in
Bible Colleges and Worship Seminar/Workshops around the
world.

PARTNERSHIP— A
Spirit of Giving
God
has called us all to greatness. He has great plans for
every person on the earth, and the resources planned
out for each one to fulfill what they are called to do.
The Lord has specifically called us, Charlie & Jill
LeBlanc, to fill the earth with anointed music full of
God’s word, whether that be through leading praise
and worship, singing songs we’ve written from the
Bible, or recording those songs and distributing them
around the world.
When you have a vision like we do, it definitely can’t
be reached without the help of others. That’s why
we’ve learned that it is God’s plan to bring
financial partners along side to join together with us
to fulfill God’s vision, especially those who have
been greatly touched by our ministry.
In Philippians 1:4-5, Paul talks about the Philippian
church being his partners. “... I always pray with
joy because of your partnership in the gospel...” Then
in Phil. 4:16 he mentions, “... you sent me aid
again and again when I was in need.” They were
a faithful bunch that the Lord used to help Paul on a
regular basis. The Lord could provide many different
ways to supply the needs of ministries, but He has chosen
to use ordinary people like you and me to join in the
principle of giving and receiving, not only to benefit
the ministries, but so that you as well can be blessed
and have a part of the eternal rewards. It’s a
win-win situation.
Romans
10:15 says, “And how shall they preach unless they
are sent?” Another way to say that would be, “And
how can they preach without partners?”
We are going forth to fulfill the vision
and calling that God has mandated to us — to fill
the earth with anointed music that will break the chains
of darkness off people’s lives. Will you help send
us? If our music has helped or inspired you, then we
invite you to hook up with us in partnership, to help
bring those same blessings and deliverance to countless
multitudes around the world.
Sow
Where You Want To Go
In 1997, we found ourselves limited by
a mindset of only giving to needy ministries (e.g. the
poor, foreign missionaries, etc.). But the Lord was able
to get hold of our hearts and showed us that if we would
join ourselves with successful ministries who are reaching
lots of people ALONG with helping smaller ministries
and organizations, we would begin to reap in the blessings
and success that were on those ministries. This is exactly
what has taken place in our lives and ministry, and we
now have much more to help the needy. Therefore, let
us take this opportunity to challenge you to step out
and sow where you want to go, then you’ll have
a whole lot more to help the poor.
In becoming a regular monthly partner with us, you will
not only receive the reward of helping others and God
supplying your needs in return, but we will send you
a complimentary copy of each new CD we produce, our monthly
letter “A Joyful Word,” an occasional special
teaching or item that we feel will be a blessing to you,
regular prayer covering and product discounts.
